1、TemplateforSubmissionofManuscriptstoAmericanChemicalSocietyJournalsWord2010,ColumnWideAbstractVersionThistemplateisaguidetobeusedtopreparemanuscriptsforsubmission.PleaseconsulttheInstructionstoAuthorsorarecentissueofthejournalfordetailedguidelinesandproceduresforsubmission.Thistemplateisintendedtobe

2、nefittotheauthorinthattheentiremanuscript(text,tables,andgraphics)maybesubmittedinonefile.Insertinggraphicsandtablesclosetothepointatwhichtheyarcdiscussedinthetextofthemanuscriptcanalsobeabenefitforthereviewer.Whenyousubmitamanuscriptusingthistemplate,youwillnotactuallyseethepageformattingthatappear

3、sintheprintedjournal.Thiswilloccuraspartoftheeditorialproductionprocess.Abbreviatedinstructionsforusingthetemplatefollow.Consultthedocumentationforyourspecificapplicationandversionformoreinformation.Additionalinstructionscanbefoundinthereadmefileatthewebpagewhereyoudownloadedthistemplate.Usingthetem

4、plateInACSpublicationstherearemanydifferentcomponentsofamanuscript(i.e.,title,abstract,maintext,figurecaptions,etc.)thatarerepresentedinthetemplate.SeetheGuide,Notes,Notice,orInstructionsforAuthorsonthejoumashomepagetodeterminewhichpartsshouldbeincludedforthemanuscriptthatyouarepreparing1. Iftypingy

5、ourmanuscriptdirectlyintothetemplate,select(highlight)thetextofthetemplatethatyouwanttoreplaceandbegintypingyourmanuscript(i.e.,selecttheTitlesectionfortypinginyourtitle).2. IfyouhavealreadypreparedyourdocumentinaWordfile,youwillneedtoattachthetemplatetoyourworkingdocumentinordertoapplytheWordStylet

6、ags.Furtherinstructionscanbefoundinthereadmefileatthewebpagewhereyoudownloadedthistemplate.a. GototheWordStylelistontheformattingtoolbarandyouwillseealltheWordStylesfromthetemplatethathasnowbeenimportedintothecurrentdocument.AStylestoolbarhasbeengeneratedthatwilldisplaythedifferentStylesforyoutochoo
