36、d2015.WhataboutGermany?Theyredoingalotofcleanenergy.Butwhenyoulookatthedata,Germanemissionshaveactuallybeengoingupsince2009,andtheresreallynotanybodywhosgoingtotellyouthattheyregoingtomeettheirclimatecommitmentsin2020.Thereasonisnthardtounderstand.Solarandwindprovidepowerabout10to20percentofthetime,

37、whichmeansthatwhenthesunsnotshining,thewindsnotblowing,youstillneedpowerforyourhospitals,yourhomes,yourcities,yourfactories.Andwhilebatterieshavemadesomereallycoolimprovementslately,thetruthis,theyrejustnevergoingtobeasefficientastheelectricalgrid.Everytimeyouputelectricityintoabatteryandtakeitout,y
