6、ling idioms:,1.When interpreting idioms,we must take into full consideration the differences between the Chinese and English cultures and languages.We should avoid using seemingly identical but actually erroneous idioms in interpreting.例:借刀杀人kill somebody by anothers hand/make use of one person to g

7、et rid of another,英汉习语有大量貌同实异的习语,应注意区分:,例:have a bone in ones throat正:难以启齿move heaven and earth正:千方百计,想尽办法,(2)必须力求符合目标语的语言习惯，切记逐字逐句地硬译,如look before you leap(三思而后行)不可译为“先看后跳”(3)必须在忠实原文的基础上，尽可能兼顾译文的表达效果。吃一堑，长一智A fall into the pit,a gain in your wit.祸兮福所倚，福兮祸所伏Good fortune lieth within bad,bad fortune
