1、主谓一致,主谓一致是指：,1）语法形式上要一致，即单复数形式与谓语要一致。The number of students in our school is 1,700.Mary and Kelly look alike.2）意义上要一致，The crowd were running for their lives.单数形式代表复数内容的词有people、staff、police、cattle等。形复意单的单词有news、works（工厂）、means和以ics结尾的学科名称physics、politics、economics等。3）就近原则，例如：There is much water in t

2、he thermos.Not onlybut also,Neithernor,Either or,就远原则-谓语动词与前面的主语一致,当主语有with,together with,along with,as well as,combined with,accompanied by,including,rather than,but、except、besides、in addition to等词组成的短语时，谓语动词与前面的主语部分一致。例如：教师和一些学生在参观工厂。The teacher together with some students is visiting the factory.

3、他和我想去划船。He as well as I wants to go boating.,谓语需用单数,1）当主语是国名,机构名,宗教,军队,书籍时，谓语动词常用单数。例如：The Arabian Night is a book known to lovers of English.The Navy accepts people of 18 years or older.2）表示金钱，时间，价格或度量衡的复合名词作主语时，通常把这些名词看作一个整体，谓语一般用单数。例如：Three weeks was allowed for making the necessary preparations.
