35、译是英汉翻译最常见的两种基本技法。,直译是指在传达原文意思的时候，尽量做到译文的表达形式、句法结构等与原文保持一致，能完全对等的要完全对等，不能完全对等的也要大致对等。对等的内容包括词性、词序、语序、表达方式、修辞方式、语体风格、地方色彩、个人风格、民族文化特色，其理想目标是做到“形”、“神”兼备。直译的使用不仅极大地丰富了汉语的词汇，而且还极大地拓展了汉语的表达方式和表达范围。,意译是指如果按照原文字面意思进行翻译既译不通，又不能有效地表达原文深层意蕴时，就舍弃原文的字面意思，将原文的表层结构和表面意思打破重组，译出其隐身含义或言外之意的翻译手法。在英汉翻译实践过程中，由于中外文化差异，很多

36、时候都需要透过原文的字面意思，打破原文的语言形式，换用相宜的汉语表达手法进行处理，否则就无法有效地传递出原文信息。,翻译过程中单一地使用直译或意译都是不可取的，完全的直译有时会使得译文生硬晦涩或词不达意，完全的意译又会改变原作的风格特点，造成误读。科学的翻译态度是直译与意译兼顾。,直译：就是既保留原文的内容，又保留原文形式的翻译方法或翻译文字。意译，就是保留原文的内容，不保持原文形式的翻译方法或翻译文字。中级口译中，大多数场合只要译出基本意思就可以了，但是在少数场合需要使用意译。,直译 literal translation vs.意译 free translation,There is no
