1、表示行为方式的状语从句常由as(依照.像.一样）,as if（正如.似乎.),as though(似乎.,好像.)just as（正如.)引导，多置于主句之后,方式状语从句：,Draw a cat as I taught you.按照我教你的画一只猫。Do as you are told.按照人家告诉你做的去做。,as，按照或正如,They treat the black boy as if(though)he were an animal.他们对待这黑孩子仿佛他是一头牲口。,as if/as though好象,似乎,He must do as the doctor advises.他必须按照

2、医生所说的去做Leave as it is维持原状He attended the meeting on time as he had been told to do他按照要求，准时出席了会议,just as:正如.,She went to the beach with me just as she had promised me to do 正如她所许诺我的，她和我一起去了海滨I did it just as you told me我正是按照你说的办的,as if和as though(1)两者用法相同，都表示“好像，仿佛”。(2)as if和as though引导方式状语从句中 即可用陈述语气

3、，表示与事实相符的情况;也可用虚拟语气，表示可能性很小的或与事实不符的情况。e.g.It looks as if it is going to rain.The child talks as though he were a man.,It looks as if the weather may pick up very soon.看来天气很快就会好起来。（实现的可能性较大，谓语用陈述语气。）He acted as if he were brave他装的好像很勇敢的样子（与现在事实相反，谓语用虚拟语气。）I feel as if I were floating on air我感觉好像漂浮在空中

4、一样（与现在事实相反，谓语用虚拟语气。）,as if/as though也可以引导一个分词短语、不定式短语或无动词短语，例如：He stared at me as if seeing me for first time.他目不转睛地看着我，就像第一次看见我似的。,He cleared his throat as if to say something.他清了清嗓子，像要说什么似的。The waves dashed on the rocks as if in anger.波涛冲击着岩石，好像很愤怒。,比较状语从句：,引导词:as.as(和一样),not as/soas(不如),than(比),t

5、he morethe more(越越).,主要运用于形容词，副词的原级，比较级和最高级的句子之中,more.than(.比.更.)the more.of.（两者之中.比较.的）,This film is more moving than that one.这部电影比那部电影感人。This film is the more moving of the two films.这部电影是两部电影中比较感人的。This film is the most moving of the three.这部电影是三部电影中最感人的。,“no+形容词/副词比较级+than”表示“和一样不”，相当于“neithern

6、or”；对于两者的否定，用于两者比较 e.g.She is no more diligent than her sisters.=Neither she nor her sisters are diligent.,not+形容词/副词比较级+than”表示“不像/不如.一样”。表示程度上的差异，是普通的比较级结构 e.g.She is not more diligent than her sisters=she is not as diligent as her sisters,He speaks Shanghai dialect no better than I.他和我一样上海话说不好。He

7、 doesnt speak Shanghai dialect better than I.他说上海话不比我说得好。This fairy is no more interesting than that one这个童话和那个一样没趣。This fairy is not more interesting than that one这个童话不如那个童话有趣。,“no more than数词”表示一个确切的数字，意思是“只不过,仅仅”相当于“only”；具有感情色彩，含有“嫌少”的意思，不表示比较如:It is no more than ten minutes walk from the statio

8、n to the hotel从车站走到宾馆只有10分钟的路程,“not more than+数词”表示不超过相当于at most（至多，不超过）。客观的说明一个事实，没有感情色彩，不表示比较 It is not more than ten minutes walk from the station to the hotel.从车站走到宾馆至多10分钟的路程,（1）“no less than数词”表示一个确切的数字，意思是“多达”相当于“as much(many)as”；“not less than数词”表示“不少于，至少”，相当于at least。如：No less than 100 stud
