1、英语语法系列讲座,主谓一致,一致,主谓一致,句式结构与意义的一致,代词指代关系一致,名词数与格的一致,行文逻辑一致,时态一致,语法一致原则 1/10,(1)单数主语即使后面带有由 with;along with;together with;like;but;except;besides;as well as;more than;no less than;rather than;including;in addition to，或者非谓语动词等引导的短语，无论短语的意义是复数还是单数，它是用来修饰前面的单数主语的，谓语动词始终用单数。,Air as well as water is matter

12、One thousand dollars is a drop in the ocean for him.,Two weeks is enough for such a job.,When well go out for an outing has been decided.,意义一致原则 6/9,What they need are more people.,(6)从句作主语时，通常表示单数概念，谓语动词常用单数,但所指内容是复数意义时，谓语动词用复数。,What he says and what he does do not agree.,What we need is more time.

13、,(7)某些集体名词,如 family,team,class,club,company,crowd,enemy,government,group,party,public,population,audience,committee,crew,作主语时，如果作为一个整体看待，谓语用单数形式；如果就其中一个个成员而言，谓语动词用复数。,His family was a big family.,His family all love music.,The population in China is very large,and eighty of the population in China a

14、re farmers.,意义一致原则 7/9,意义一致原则 8/9,The police wear the black in winter.,(8)英语中，一些表示总称意义的名词，如：police，people，cattle等作主语时，谓语动词必须用复数形式。,Some people spend a lot of money on clothes.,Cattle are raised everywhere by the farmers.,意义一致原则 9/9,(9)名词所有格作主语,是它之后的名词被省略，这种情况一般只指商店、工厂、住宅等.作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数。,但是，如果它指的是商店
