13、1988.The objective of the Standard is to specify construction, dimensions and test requirements for cross-linked polyethylene insulated individually metallic screened, three phase, aerial bundled cables (ABCs), steel wire supported, for working voltages 6.35/11 (12) kV and12.7/22 (24) kV.For reasons

14、 of standardization and rationalization, this Standard provides for the construction, dimensions, and test requirements of only a limited range of individually screened three-core cables.This Standard is complementary to the range of cables covered in AS/NZS 3599.2, Electric cablesAerial bundledPoly

35、s made by the manufacturer on each manufactured length of cable to check that each length meets the specified requirements.3.13 Sample testsTests made by the manufacturer on samples of completed cable, or components taken from completed cable, at a specified frequency, so as to verify that the finis

36、hed product meets the specified requirements.3.14 Support wireA steel member provided to support the three laid-up phase cables.3.15 Type testsTests made before supplying, on a general commercial basis, a type of cable covered by this Standard, in order to demonstrate satisfactory performance charac

37、teristics to meet the intended application.
