4、指以整体形式学到并保存在长期记忆中的范例(exemplar)。近年来计算机技术对自然话语的分析结果表明,交际语言中,只有少部分自然话语是通过单词或固定词组的使用来实现的,大部分(70%)是由处于两者之间的半固定板块结构来实现的。通过对儿童词汇习得的研究,Nattinger和DeCarrio也证明了在预定的社会环境中,儿童使用大量未经分析的语块,即预制语块。例如,儿童不是把What is that 当成三个词素,而是把它当成一个单词,What-is-that 一个不可分割的单位使用。他们还常常使用this-is-mine,give-me,go-on,I-want-to-go.,国内外的相关研究,

14、言的基础。,国内学者的研究成果,国内学者意识到了预制语块对二语习得的作用。(1)预制语块能提高口语交际的流利性;(2)预制语块具有一定的生成性;(3)预制语块能提高语言学习者的语用能力,提高交际得体性;(4)预制语块有助于提高语言学习者的语篇理解能力和加速语篇加工的能力。,词汇搭配现象,外语学习者在掌握了基本的语音和语法知识后,语言能力的提高很大程度上取决于词汇的扩展。而词汇之间的搭配正是外语学习者在学习真正的,符合习惯用法的英语和扩展词汇时可运用的重要方法之一。,词汇搭配同现及分类搭配,“搭配”对应的英文为collocation,有时被译成词汇同现，有时被折中译为“搭配同现”（横组合关系），

15、有时被译为“共现”。侧重语篇层次的多为“词汇同现”，侧重小句内部或小句之间的多为“搭配”。词项的搭配主要指英语或其他语言中词与词之间固定的,非成语性的结合,即词与词之间的横向组合关系(syntagmatic relation)。朱永生（1996）按照灵活性程度把搭配划分为三种类型：固定搭配、常规性搭配、创造性搭配。Fernando受Halliday的影响(1996:72-74）将习语、习惯表达、习惯性搭配以及其他的多词表达分成三类：概念类(如green with envy),人际类(如I dare say)和关系类(如so，that，when)。,词汇搭配同现理论在英语教学中的作用,概念搭配同

16、现概念搭配同现用于描述说话人或写作者对外在客观世界和内在心理世界的经验，包括参加者，以及过程所涉及的外部环境。所有的实词（名词、动词、形容词等）对客观世界都有表征的功能，说话者或写作者能使用单个的词或词组来表达意义。下面的例子选自H.Fairlie.在华盛顿邮报发表的题为Pub Talk and the Kings English来说明概念搭配同现作为一种表征世界的语言资源以及在具体词汇教学中的作用。(1)The glow of the conversation burst into flames.（参加者/动作者+过程）(2)The conversation was on wings.（参加

17、者/属性）(3)The fact that their marriages may be on the rocks,or that their love affairs have been broken or even that they got out of bed on wrong side is simply not a concern.（参加者/属性+参加者/载体+过程）,上述三个例子中的划线部分构成了概念搭配，临时性搭配(如the glow of the conversation)，比较固定性的搭配（如burst into flames,on wings,love affairs,e

18、tc.）。在解释这些搭配的意义时，可以用其他的词汇来重新表述搭配所包裹的信息，比如可以用dangerous,scorn来解释on the rocks,turned up their noses at的含义。但这种解释只是字面意义上的，没有把握习语性搭配的深层涵义。例(3)中的on the rocks与marriages构成了非常规性搭配，放在一起使用，就形成了语言的张力。尽管用于解释搭配的单词和搭配本身都可以用来传递信息和表征世界，但二者传递或表征的方式是不一样的。单词往往包裹一般信息（如union），而搭配往往包裹具体信息（如 trade union），从情感色彩上看，单词一般是中性的，(s

19、ervice)而搭配一般表达了某种态度或情感的倾向性(impeccable service)。单词一般是行动(fly),而搭配指过程(fly long distance).,在具体的语篇教学中，概念搭配所包含的具体信息应该得到进一步解释，并且要说明他们所内隐的观点或情感倾向性。另外，语篇中的临时性搭配在构建语篇中的作用需要加以注意。比如，在文章的前六段，conversation一词共出现了13次之多。conversation和charm构成了the charm of conversation；和glow构成了the glow of conversation；和bar构成了bar convers

20、ation；和enemy构成了the enemy of good conversation.可以说，这几种临时性搭配形式形成了词汇搭配链。通过对搭配链的解读，可以加深对语篇的理解，在实际的语篇教学中，也具有很强的可操作性。,人际搭配同现,人际搭配同现（interpersonal collocation）被说话者或写作者用于表达对具体活动或事件或其他参加者的看法、态度。人际搭配同现体现了话语的情态(modality)和意态(modulation)。人际搭配同现为我们成为熟练的会话者或写作者提供了重要的词汇语法资源Fernando(1996:155)。人际搭配同现通常指那些常规型的多词表达(con

24、utely right for you.,在语气层面上，例句中的人际同现搭配存在着程度上的差异。例(5)中的it was not somethin用了否定的极性情态，强调一位好的会话者所应具备的品质作者为了说明酒肆闲聊也有其独自的魅力时，用了perhaps it is because of,目的是为了让话语更具有可信性，作者紧接着使用了显性的高情态表达语I think，很明显，他想告诉读者这是他个人的观点。作者在对某事物做出判断时，如果态度不是很确定，会经常采用would,could，may等情态词来表明他的不确定态度。,语篇搭配同现,语篇搭配指的是话语中为了连接等需要而产生的词语共现，其主要

25、功能是使话语的语义连贯更加明晰化，使听者或读者能够理解语篇中隐形的连接关系。这种搭配组合常常发生在词与词之间,也可以在词组层面上。例如:（6）Words are not themselves a reality,but only representations of it.例(6)中的not,but only经常在一起使用，表明它们已经成为比较固定的搭配模式，它们的语义基本上等同于单词and。如同概念搭配同现一样，语篇习惯性搭配的语义也较为具体。Fernando(1996:193)比较过单词and以及它在功能上相似的多词表达not onlybut also。Fernando认为and可以表示因
