4、personal ambition. 她没有个人野心。批注:先让学生回顾个性,人格是哪个单词(personality),然后在原有单词上变形引出personal,personally,让学生留意这里的-al,复习前面的词缀学习法。 3. action n. 活力,动作,(戏剧或书中的)情节e. g. we had a very exciting holiday. Every day was full of action. 我们度过了一个非常有意思的假期。每天都充满了活力。【知识拓展】act v. 行动,表演 adj. active 积极的 n. activity 活动 actress/acto
5、r 女/男演员 take action 采取行动 take measure 采取措施 批注:先让学生回忆“活动”是哪个单词action,然后让学生默写与action相关的词性变化。并提醒学生act与art的区别,个别学生容易混淆这两个单词。4. finish n. 结尾,结束 e.g. The last race was a very close finish. 最后一场赛跑在尾段竞争非常激烈。 【知识拓展】finish v. 完成,结束 后接动名词,代词,名词做宾语,不可接动词不定式。 e.g. I finished reading the book last night. 我昨晚看完了那本
6、书。 When did you finish your college? 你什么时候大学毕业的?批注:初中阶段英语中有些动词只能接动名词,不可以接不定式,可以让学生先总结常见的,如enjoy, keep, mind, practice等。 5. crash n. 突然的响声;巨响 e. g. The car hit the tree with a crash. 汽车轰隆一声撞到墙上。【知识拓展】crash v. 猛撞,发出巨响 e.g. The car crashed into the tree. 批注:问学生是否喜欢憨豆先生,电影憨豆假期中播放歌曲crash,如果学生没有看过,可以建议去看看
7、。电影搞笑的段落很多。6. above prep. 在上方; e. g. His bedroom is just above. 他的寝室在上面。【指点迷津】above, over above 指相对上方的位置,反义词为under。Over在正上方,反义词为below。 批注:让学生总结介词的分类,并总结方位介词的用法及区别。7. wonder adj. 非凡的,奇妙的 【友情提示】wonder作形容词的情况比较少。但在口语中往往用来代替wonderful【知识拓展】wonder n. 奇观,惊奇 v. 想弄明白 wonderful adj. 12、doing sth; need to do sth。两者的区别是,当主语是人时,用need to do sth 表示“某人需要做某事”,当主语是物时用need doing sth 表示“某物需要(被)”。 e.g. I need a bike I need to have a rest(主语是人,用need to do) Our classroom needs cleaning every day. 我们的教室每天打扫。(主语是物,用need doing)【友情提示】need 也可以作情态动词,用于疑问句和否定句,表示“需要”,后跟动词原形,没有人称和数的变化。e.g. You neednt

You can tell what the characters above are like just from looking at them. 此句为what引导的宾语从句,其中what是连接代词。e.g. I dont know what
