She was very beautiful and could run faster than any man in the Greece. But she was not allowed to run in the Olympic Games. She

2、was so angry that she would not marry anyone who could not run faster than her. She made it a rule that if anyone wanted to marry her，she would run against him. If he could not run as fast as her, he would be killed. Many men lost their lives for her. There was a young man called Hippomenes ,who won

3、 the race and married the princess with the help of the Greek Goddess of Love. How could he do that? 6、 than me. This is my rule. K: What? A: If a man wants to marry me, I will run against him. If he cannot run as fast as me, he will be killed. No one will be pardoned. OK?K: ButA: Dad,.K: All right! 7、en they heard of her rule, some of them sadly went home. Other men stayed to run the race. There was a man called Hippomenes who was amazed when he heard of Atlantas rule. But when he saw Atlanta , he changed his mind)H: Why are these men so foolish? Why will they let themselves be killed because th

8、ey cannot run as fast as this princess? The crowds: Here comes the princess!H: Wow, how beautiful! She is the very princess I want to marry. But how can I run faster than her ? Ah, Ive got an idea. Why not ask the Goddess of Love for help? Scene3: (旁白: Hippomenes went to ask for help from the Greek

9、Goddess of Love.)H: My dear Goddess! My kind Goddess! I want to marry Atlanta, would you please help me? How can I run faster than her? Goddess: Young man ,do you really want to die for her? H: Yes, my Goddess. I love her. I will marry her, or die. Goddess: Ok! Here are three golden apples. Throw an
