4、y? B: My birthday is. Teaching procedure: Step1 : Greetings and warming up ( The teacher comes into the classroom with a calendar ) 1.T: Lets sing the Good morning song. ( Sing the song together) 2.T: Revise the numbers from 1 to 31 by counting the students in class. Ask the students to count the st
5、udents together。 1. Show them the calendar, and ask “ Whats the date today?” and help the student answer “ Its December 5th.” By looking at the calendar. Tell them the more dates with the calendar. 1 2. Ask a boy “ When is your birthday ?” and help him with Chinese . He can speak the date in Chinese
6、 .Then let him repeat in English. 3. Notice the dates , and write the question and the answer on the blackboard . 4. Teach the dates words and write them on the blackboard like : January 1st February 2nd March 3rd . And let them to repeat the words. 使用多媒体在大屏幕上显示一些名人和节日的图片,用于展示新的单词。 老师可问 “When is Edi

Ask the groups to make a list of the new words that shows in the picture 1a to see which group has the most words. 4. Make the students cop
9、y some new words that they are interested in the books. Step3: Practice 1.老师随意点一些学生,让他们互相询问生日时间及年龄。操练以上句型。 2. Show the target language on the screen so that the students can see them clearly. 3. Repeat the target language. The students read after the teacher. 4. Show some lovely boys and girls on th

Make them be familiar with the English names. Step4: Listening 1. Look at 1b .Play the recording for the first t
