2、inese,which even became the major difficulty for Chinese to integrate into the western country when they go aboard. Therefore the emergence of China collectivism,we need to trace to the prehistoric civilization.In the uncivilized region,men should cooperate to hunt for food, defend the beast and bui

3、ld the shelter.Each one count on others to survive and multiply,and that behaviors arouse the embryonic form of sense of collective. Then ,the traditional value of the Chinese collectivism was formed on the basis of a collective orientation,which not only includes the relationship between the indivi

4、duals and the family,but also between the individuals and the country,the nation ,the society and other individuals.When people get into the agricultural civilization,the basic components are families,instead of individuals.In the network of bolld relationships,each individual is entitled with clear

5、 obligations and responsibilities.The parents and the family raise the offspring,and the offspring perform their filial piety towards the parents and the family.The destiny of the individual is intimately linked with his family or clan.When the family is prosperous, so is the individual,and when the

6、 family ends up ruined,so does the individual.The individual has little relevance outside the context of family and clan. Take trip,the westerns as always prefer to be individual traveler with sufficient personal space.But Chinese are always travel with a group.More than that,they are likely to work

7、 together,walk together,eat together even go to bathroom together.Maybe the reason is Chinese generally love being together,or they will feel quite lonely. Whats more,Chinese always follow the will of collective.When they make decisions,they are accustomed to account for others opinions of the opini

8、ons of most people.When doing something, the Chinese tend to consider what others might think or say.They will consider the impact of their behavior to others more than to themselves.The reason behind this is the philosophical core of the Chinese culture is the awareness of collective which means th

9、e individual is but a part of collective,and the collective interest is the individual interest.The collective value is the individual value.However, the philosophical core of Western culture is an awareness of the individual,which means each person is a unique one with his own personality and will.

10、 The Chinese pay more attention to the protection of the interest of the collective,the solidarity of the collective ,and the achievement of the collective goal.They will put their behavior weight on the social or collective interest.However the individual interest is to be integrated into the inter

11、est of collective,or to be ignored or compromised when necessary,just like the famous motto in China, “Sacrifice individual interests for public good/collective benefits”.Because of the public sense of worth,modest and courtesy are virtues praised highly by Chinese.Progress and development shall be

12、made in a stable environment and the Chinese prefer to adapt themselves to different circumstances.Public opinion is more likely negative to individual opinions,just like many Chinese axioms, “a tall tree inspires the wind” and “the bird which takes the lead get shot first”.However,this phenomenon i

13、s a huge drawback for a modern society.We all know that the innovation always make a break in manufacture and produce.The new theory may solve the international economic problem.We always complain that we can not build the innovate thought in our education system and we do not have the innovation ta

14、lent.Actually,we can ,and we have.Most talents are oppressed by the potentates or society just because their senses are not the main trend.We confused a reason that the brain drain is because of the circumstance and payment.But in fact, the most important reason is when they go aboard,they are regard as a “brain” and they have the opportunity to accomplish themselves. Although there are some drawbacks of the collectivism,we can not
