Wan Lv Garden is located on the north of Haikou,between the Qiongzhou strait and Binha

3、i Boulevard. The garden is close to Haikou stadium to the east.covered an area of 83 hectares, and it is also a recreational garden for Haikou residents. Talking about the construction of this garden, that was not easy to come into being.In 1993, with the development of Haikou, a lot of vegetation h

4、ave been destroyed,In order to improve the，environment and benefits to the people, the Haikou municipal Party and government decided to built a big park, so they call on the people from all levels of society, for example,like government，Workers, soldiers, and townspeople,they all take part in planin

5、g trees and flowers in the garden!For 3 yeas,the garden has been built up and opened to the public. The garden is really beautiful with the green vegetation in any seasons,so we call it Wan Lv Garden. But for one years later,In order to upgrade the management and construction of the garden,The more

Like coconut trees,cypress and old banyan trees.Look at this coconut trees,it was planted by Mr Li peng, the former premier of the republic of china. 8、bums and memories. 2The Memorial Temple to the Five Lords Hello！Everybody!welcome to Hainan province！This is the capital city Haikou.Im your tour guide,my name is John.Im so glad to stand here,today,I will take you to a scenic spot which named Wu Gong Ci, it means the memorial temple to five lords.

9、Wu Gong Ci is the most presentative humane relic in Hainan. It is located in Hai fu road with construction of 2800 square Meters. It was built to commemorate the five famous officials in Tang and Song dynasty,they are Li de yu,Li Guang Li gang, Zhao ding, Hu quan The present building was rebuilt in

10、Qing Dynasty,It includes the first building in Hainan,Guanjia Hall,Xuepu Hall,East Ding Hall,West Ding Hall,and the temple of Su shi.As the scenic spot was built with southern garden design,so we call it Qiong tai sheng jing,the wonderful scenery in Hainan. Now,we are standing before the fist buildi

11、ng in Hai nan. The building consists of two stories,with a height of 10 meters,So,somebody will ask me,why we call it the the fist building in Hai nan? Because it was tallest and magnificent building in old Hainan,standing on the building ,You could see avast plain and the Nandu river flowing into t

12、he sea.The unique thing about this building is that it was built completely of wood,not with any nails.But it was built in1889,havebeen standing here more than 100years.Can you see the that couplet on the door?It generalized the indomitable spirit of the five officials for disregarding themselves.Th

16、eters from Haikou,Im so glad to stand here to be your tour guide,my name is John.,today ,I will take you to the Dongjiao Coconut Grove.Talking about the grove we have to talk about the coconuts ,it is one of 4 widely grown tropical plants with rubber ,pepper and cashew nut .In ancient times,the coco

17、nut trees grew in Malaysia,the coconut fruits dropped into the sea and flew all the way up to Hainan,the coconuts took root here ,finally ,and became all the coconut trees in this island. Nowadays,Hainan coconut products become famous in the world For example ,like some beverage ,sugar ,even some ha

18、ndcraft and souvenirs ,if you find some ,you could buy some sent to your families as souvenir . 24、The scenic spot is located at Shishan Town ,Qiongshan city , about 20 kilometers away from Haikou Please look at the rocks along the road side ,those rocks are black,they are the extrusive rock left over from volcanic eruptions.Together with the eruptions large amounts of volcanic lava gushed out of

25、 volcanic The volcanic ash covered the land and made it fertile ,so you can see rows of luxuriant fruit treesin the distance ,including lychee,longyan,star fruit and jackfruit.The locals always have a good year for fruits,so the area is the land for fruits in Hainan,There are thousands of hectares o

26、f lychee trees around the crater park .Now,we are close to the crater park ,can you see the cone mountains?those are the craters.As they look like saddles,so the local people call it Ma Anlin,the saddle ridge .In the crater ,a lot of buildings are built with extrusive rocks.these rocks are black ,so

40、ished his character of being honest and straightforward ,upright and outspoken,and his strong will of never -yielding to bigwigs and never being scared by difficulties .So most tourist come to Hainan are sure to pay a visit to Hairui Tomb .So,how dose the tomb come into being ?The rumor says when Ha

41、irui dead ,people send him to the tomb site.but the ropes that tied the coffin were suddenly broken on the way .people believe that it was Hairui who chosen the right place by himself. So they buried Hairui here .The tomb covers an area of half a hectare with a lot of green vegetation,like gross ,co

42、conut trees,cypress .they are stand for the spirit of Hairui left among the people . Come into the southern part of the tomb,there stands a lofty stone memorial archway,with the wordsYue dong zheng qi,it means the noble spirit of eastern Guangdong.It was written by Emperor Wanli of Ming Dynasty .aft

43、er entering the main gate ,we can see a path of 100 meters built with granites leading straightly to the tomb .On both side of the path are arranged symmetrically varied stone sheep,stone horses and turtles.On the stone turtle ,there has a couplet ,it means:who says that you have no children ?All th

44、e people all over the world are your children .It was a pity that the stone turtle was destroyed during cultural revolution ,but the great feeling expressed in couplet have been cherished for generations. On every Memorial day ,people get together to hold a memorial ceremony for Hairui .The activiti
