1、Unit One How Tall Are You? 第一课时教学设计一、 教学内容六年级下册Unit One 第一课时Lets start A Lets learn Lets play二、 教学目标1. 能够听、说、读、写形容词的比较级形式:taller, stronger, older, younger和shorter。2. 能够用句型“Imcm tall. Hes/ Shes cm tall.”描述自己和他人的身高。3. 能够用句型“Youre taller than your brother. Im older than you.”进行年龄和身高的比较。4. 能够听懂老师的指令,按不同
2、年龄、身高排队,并用所学语言进行表述。三、 教学重难点1. 教学重点是能够听、说、读、写A Lets learn部分五个形容词的比较级形式;并能用含有比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。2. 教学难点是能够听、说、读、写四会单词;并能根据具体情境灵活运用形容词比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。单词cm的完整发音也是本课时的教学难点。四、 教学准备1. 采用生本课堂、情境教学。2. 教具有课文图片、VCD课件五、 教学过程1. Warm- up(1) 完成前置作业(一)。通过下列句型复习旧单词tall, short, strong, old, young等形容词。前置作业如下:看图完成下列句子,一线一
3、词。Whats Mr. Lin like? Hes_.Whats your principal like? She is _.Whats Mr. Zhao like? He is _. Whats he like? Hes _.Is Miss White_? Yes, she is.(2) 课堂活动1:猜猜“谁是我最喜欢的老师或同学?”完成前置作业(二):用学过的句型描述你最喜欢的一位老师或同学的外貌、性格等特征。例如:Hes a teacher. Hes tall and strong. Hes active. Hes very smart.Whos he?通过练习,巩固学生对所学过的形容词
4、的理解与背诵。2. Preview(1)(Ask one by one) T: Good morning! Im 164cm tall. How tall are you? S1: Im 150cm tall. S2:Im 153cm tall. S3: Im 168cm tall.(2)老师板书该句子并领读cm。由于cm的完整读音比较难,所以教师在接下来的活动中要不断引领带读、复习巩固。(3)四人小组活动:互相介绍自己的身高:Im _cm tall.3. Presentation(1)请一个小组的学生上台介绍自己的身高,并按高矮排成一列。 然后用手势帮助学生理解下列句子: A is tall
5、. B is taller than A. C is taller than B. D is taller than C. 教师板书tall- taller, 并带读。(2)老师请出身形不一的一组学生上台排成一列做健美动作,并比较说: A is strong. B is stronger than A. C is stronger than B. D is stronger than C. 教师板书strong- stronger.(3)引导学生总结er的读音以及理解比较级的中文含义。(4)课件一次性呈现余下的单词: young - younger old - older short shor
6、ter(5)四人小组活动:让学生仔细观察形容词的原形、比较级在音、形、义、构词等方面的异、同,并在小组内讨论、总结。(6)小组派代表汇报总结的结果。/ E: / (7)老师整理各小组汇报的情况。(a)形容词原形变比较级形式,一般在词尾加er,读 ;(b)意思是“更”。4. Consolidation and extension(1)教师播放课文VCD,让学生认真听一遍,第二遍模仿课文语音语调认真跟读。(2)教师纠正部分学生比较级er的发音,提醒他们要将单词末尾的辅音与er连读。(3)四人小组活动:认真朗读课文A Lets learn部分,在活动中互相帮助,及时发现并纠正错误的读音,并互相背诵单
7、词。(4)朗读汇报:教师抽查各个小组,对整体表现好的小组及时鼓励表扬。(5)四人小组竞赛:看谁在作业纸上最快最好地听写出本课的五个形容词的比较级形式,教师对整体表现最快最好的小组进行鼓励和表扬。(6)Lets play 教师请出八名学生,分成两组,发出指令:“Line up from younger to taller.”规则是学生必须用英语来沟通,用中文提示的小组要被淘汰。例如:“How old are you? Im 12. Im older than you.”等。看哪一组排得又快又对。(7)四人小组游戏:模仿上述游戏,在小组内进行“Line up from shorter to tal
8、ler.”的活动。(8)完成前置作业(三):用句型“Imthan.”来描述自己。 用“My.is.than.”来描述其他人。(9)口头汇报前置作业。同时教师利用投影仪检查学生完成前置作业(三)的情况,例如书写、对错等。(10)听力练习:听录音,根据录音内容填上所缺单词。 1. Tom is than Amy. 2. My father is than my mother. 3.Yao Ming is than Tian Liang. 4.I am than my friend.(听力内容如下:1. Tom is younger than Amy. 2. My father is older t
