She has overall length (LOA) of 205 meters and a breadth of 27 meters. We were fully loaded with grains at our last port of callHamburg, Ger
4、many last month. Then we departed and began our sailing .It was an unlucky voyage. We met with a storm in the course of the voyage. After we had been at sea for 25 days, we came back to out homeport, Qingdao, a famous port in china. We waited at the anchorage for 7 hours, and we got alongside No.8 W
5、harf at 10:26. We planned to load coal at this port, and then sail to Japan 4 days later. After the accommodation ladder was rigged up the third officer and a duty sailor began to keep the gangway watch. Some other crew went ashore for sightseeing, shopping or phoning home. The stevedores commenced
6、the loading and unloading work. Relatives of some of the crew came on board to enjoy a family reunion.
