The didactic part covers the theoretical chair
4、side and laboratory procedures of complete denture production. The practical component will provide the students with the skill and the understanding of laboratory procedures required for construction of the complete denture prosthesis. A series of exercises are conducted to prepare the student for

7、N-AAttendanceN-AParticipationN-ACourse ObjectivesWeights The theoretical course provides the platform of basic knowledge of dental procedures and stepwise methodologies leading to the construction of a successful denture Relevance and evidence of each methodology is introduced along with alternative
8、 current practices. The lab provides hands-on training to develop basic skills of laboratory procedures which are incorporated in the denture design. The hands-on experience produces various outcomes related to students limited abilities. These faulty procedures are used as an education tool to cons
9、truct critical assessment skills and relate them to clinical complaints and patient managements. Students are introduced to the e-Learning course which follows the progress of student and allows for a customised learning path based on students abilities. E-Learning based quizzes and assignments will
10、 help introduce students to the clinical situations by simulations designed to be used as self learning materialTeaching & Learning Methods Class lectures, handouts and presentations are designed to achieve the course objectives Laboratory sessions are essential part of the course Demonstrations per
