FiguresandTablesFiguresandtablesaremosteffectivewhentheyareclear,self-explanatory,accurate,easilyunderstoodandremembered.Ingeneral,tablesandfiguresshouldhaveenoughexplanationintheircaptionstostandalone.Tablesandfigures(graphs,charts,drawing,andphotographs)mustbeembeddedinthedocument.Theyshouldbeplacedbetweenparagraphs,after(ornear)theirfirstmentioninthetext.Itisrecommendedtomaketheseparatefilefortablesandfiguresbecausetheirplacementwillbe(probably)rearrangedafterapplyingallthetextfonnatting.Figurecaptionshavetobeplacedbelowthefiguresandnotinutextboxes“linkedtothefigures.Tabletitleshavetobeplacedabovethetables.Authorsshouldincludeaminimumofonesentencesummarizingwhatthefigure/tableshowsorillustratesinthetext;alsoverifythatthefiguresandtablesmentionedinthetextactuallyexist.3.4.4.1.
