四篇不同体裁的文章，既拓宽学生的视野，又对其情感有深刻的教育。第一、二篇，通过对和平的呼唤，对城市垃圾的处理，唤起学生热爱和平、保护环境的意识。第三篇，通过引导学生积极参加有益于身心健康和学习的娱乐活动,减轻学习压力,增加学生体验生活的乐趣并对生活充满自信。第四篇，是一篇关于惩处酒后驾车的新闻报道，通过阅读使学生意识到安全驾驶的重要性,更加珍惜生活,珍爱生命.,三.学情分析,本节阅读课的授课对象是初四学生。他们对英语语言知识有了一定的积累，具备了一定的阅读理解能力。但是大部分学生缺乏系统的做题方法和技巧，甚至对阅读理解题有望而生畏的现象。因此，给学生正确的方法技巧和理念指导是非常必要的。,四.教学重难点,1.学习重点 使学生在实践中掌握以下基本的阅读技能，并能熟练运用它们获取有效信息,提高阅读速度和做题的准确率。1）略读全文并能总结归纳文章主旨大意；2）跳读文章能准确定位相关信息；3）根据已给的语境猜测词义。4）通过文字表面信息，推断隐含义，了解作者 的写作意图。5）总结归纳文章标题。,2.学习难点
