初三英语第五册第八单元,一.陈述句变为以that引导的宾语从句。that在口语中常省略,1.She said,“Our train will arrive in five minutes.”,She said(that)their train would arrive in five minutes.,2.He said,“Im very busy.”,He said(that)he was very busy.,二.一般疑问句变成if/whether引导的宾语从句。,1.He said,“Can you swim,John?”,He asked John if he could swim.,2.The teacher said,“Have you all understood me?”,The teacher asked if we had all understood him.,If/whether的用法主要区别点:whether可与or(not)连用I dont know whether he will come or not.I dont know if/whether he will come.,三.特殊疑问句变为由who/what/when等 疑问词引导的宾语从句。,1.George said,“When will you get back from Shanghai,Mike?”,George asked Mike when he would get back from Shanghai.,2.He said,“Where are you going?”,He asked where I was going.,四.祈使句变为动词不定式。表示命令时常用tell;表示请求时常用ask。Dont变为not,1.The teacher said to the boy,“Open the window.”,The teacher told the boy to open the window.,2.His father said to him,“Dont leave the door open.”,His father told him not to leave the door open.,五、如主句谓语动词为一般现在时或一般将来时，则间接引语中的动词仍保持直接引语的原来时态。,1.He says,“Im very busy today.”,He says(that)he is very busy today.,2.He will say,“I have watered the flowers.”,He will say(that)he has watered the flowers.,六、如主句谓语动词为过去时，则间接引语中的动词应由现在时变为过去时,(Book 5A.Page 80.Exercise 2)1.I have kept all my Valentines Day cards.,She said that she had kept all her Valentines Day cards.,2.Our class bought thirty moon cakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival.,She said(that)her class had bought thirty moon cakes For the Mid-Autumn Festival.,3.Ben was selling tickets for the Christmas dance last week.,She said(that)Ben had been selling tickets for the Christmas dance last week.,4.My sister didnt invite all her friends to the Halloween party.,He said(that)his sister hadnt invited all her friends to the Halloween party.,5.A new flag has been made for National Day.,They said(that)a new flag had been made for National Day.,6.We have decided where the Mid-Summers Day party should be held.,They said(that)they had decided where the Mid-Summers Day party should be held.,七、各类句子的变化情况,1.反意疑问句，变为由if/whether引导的宾语从句。,She asked me,“You have seen the film,havent you?”,She asked me if/whether I had seen the film.,2.选择问句，变为whetheror,I asked him,“Will you stay at home or go to a film tonight?”,I asked him whether he would stay at home or go to a film that night.,3.直接引语是感叹句时，变间接引语时可用what或how引导，有时也可用that引导。,She said,“What a lovely day it is!”,She said what a lovely day it was.She said that it was a lovely day.,
