Voice被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者.如:1.Many people speak English.English is spoken(by many people).2.They found the dinosaur eggs in Liaoning.The dinosaur eggs were found(by them)in Liaoning.3.We must do something to stop the pollution.Something must be done to stop the pollution(by us).,二、The formations of the passive voices of different tenses:,一般现在时：一般过去时：现在进行时：过去进行时：现在完成时：过去完成时：一般将来时：过去将来时：当句中含有情态动词时，句子结构为,am/is/are donewas/were doneam/is/are being donewas/were being donehave/has been donehad been doneshall/will be done;be going to be donewould/should be donecan/must/have tobe done,一般现在时：am/is/are done一般过去时：was/were done现在进行时：am/is/are being done过去进行时：was/were being done现在完成时：have/has been done过去完成时：had been done一般将来时：shall/will month.王老师说下个月将有一个关于英语学习的报告。,三、When to use the Passive Voice:1.行为主体不明确，不必说出或者无法说出动作的执行者时。Football is played all over the world.2.不易找到或根本就不知道动作的执行者时。My bike was stolen.3.需要强调或突出动作的承受者时。Wei Hua is asked to come to the teachers office.4.句子的主语是动作的承受者时。These songs are usually heard in the shops.5.某些句子习惯上用被动语态。He was born in October,1988.It is said that another bridge has been built over the Changjiang computer was bought(by me)last term.,Ann can take good care of the cats,The cats can be taken good care of by Ann.情态动词(model verb)：S+can/must/should等情态动词+be+过去分词,Our classroom is cleaned every day.,The hamburger,is being eaten by the boy.,light,Thomas Edison,The light was invented by Thomas Edison.,send to,hospital,right now,a talk,give,soon,They must be sent to the hospital right now.,A talk will be given soon.,主动语态变被动语态应注意的几个特殊问题:一.不及物动词带介词和介词宾语,在变为被动语态时,仍然要带上介词,如:1.The students listen to the teacher carefully in class every day.The teacher is listened to carefully(by the students)in class.2.Xiao Ming looked after his sister yesterday.His sister was looked after(by Xiao Ming)yesterday.3.The things should be taken good care of.二.含有感官动词和使役动词的句子，即当动词带有复合宾语,并且宾补是省去“to”的动词不定式,在被动语态中应加上“to”.如:4.They make us do all the work.We are made to do all the work(by them).5.We often hear her sing English songs.She is often heard to sing English songs(by us).6.I saw him walk to school.He was seen to walk to school(by me).,三.当动词带双宾语时,将指人的宾语提前作被动语态的主语,另一个不动;如果是将指物或指事的宾语提前,则指人的宾语前应加上“to”或“for”,常跟to 的动词有give,show,sell,send,pass等。跟for的动词有buy,sing,make,mend,cook等。如:7.They give me some nice presents.I am given some nice presents(by them).Some nice presents are given to me(by them).8.My father bought me a bike last week.I was bought a bike(by my father)last week.A bike was bought for me(by my father)last week.四.主动语态中.当句子的主语是某物品的产地时,变被动语态后,不用介词by,而用介词in或on。9.Xinjiang produced fine cotton.Fine cotton is produced in Xinjiang.10.This farm grows a lot of rice.A lot of rice is grown on this farm.,A traffic accident _(happen)just now.,happened,2.连系动词（Link.v.)如：be,look,seem,feel,sound,smell,taste,get,turn,become,Peking Opera _(sound)beautiful.,sounds,The soup _(taste)very good.,tastes,In spring trees _(turn)green.,turn,1.不及物动词（vi.)如:happen,take place,appear,dissapear,不用被动语态的动词：,有些情况下动词的主动形式也可以表示被动意义。,一、表示“开始”；“结束”类的动词。常见的这类动词有begin,start,open,close,end,finish,stop等。例如：,1.School begins in September.2.The stores in this area open later on weekends than on weekdays.,二、主语是物，谓语是表示主语特征或属性的动词。常见的这类动词有write,read,wear,wash,clean,sell,run,lock等。这些动词常与副词或否定词连用。例如：,The machine runs well.This pen
