This canonical form includes the classical Lorenz system and the Chen system as two extreme cases in a chain of infinitely many related but non-equivalent chaotic systems. The main idea in developing this new unified theory will be explained, computer simulation and circuit implementation will be demonstrated, and mathematical analysis will be outlined. Moreover, hyperchaotic and fractional Chen systems will be briefly mentioned.
