Teaching Plan学校： 设计教师：谢乃探 课题名称：Module 9 Unit2 Is it an African elephant?教学年级：初一（7）课型：Vocabulary and reading教材版本：外研版授课时间：45分钟一学生分析1、本班大部分学生来自农村，英语基础较差但对英语比较感兴趣，乐于参与各种调查、汇报、表演等实践活动.2、经过半个学期的学习，学生已具备了一定的英语基础。通过前几个模块的学习，学生基本掌握一般现在时，形成了正确使用一般现在时的意识，为本课学习打下了基础。二、教材分析模块9以A trip to the zoo为话题，介绍了世界各地的动物以及其栖息地、习性等， Unit 2 围绕“它是否是一只非洲象”展开，介绍动物的产地和生活习性。Vocabulary and reading 包括4部分。Part 1要求学生在地图上找出所给的地名，以激活学生已有的相关知识储备，并熟悉本单元基本的语言知识；Part 2要求学生把地名与它们相应的单词搭配起来，进一步掌握这些词语；Part 3 要求学生看地图，并完成句子；Part 4要求学生阅读短文，然后根据短文内容选择正确的答案。三、教学目标根据英语课程标准，结合学生实际和本课的课型，教学目标的核心任务是能读懂有关介绍动物的简单文章,并从中获取重要相关细节信息，进行简单的阅读技能训练，具体目标设定为以下几个方面：1、语言知识、技能目标：(1)教学重点a掌握词汇：African, America, American, Oceania, Oceanian, desert, forest, , grassland, jungle, Indiab. 能读懂有关介绍动物的简单文章,并从中获取重要相关细节信息的能力。(2) 教学难点c. 能对有关动物的话题进行问答，流利的说出含有本课生词、短语。d. 培养学生的阅读能力。2、情感态度目标：a.提高学习英语兴趣，树立信心，培养其积极主动参与各种语言实践活动的学习态度。b. 在用英语交流中，培养热爱动物，保护动物的意识。参加各种英语活动，克服困难，在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。3、学习策略目标：通过自主探究学习、合作交流和交际过程中学习英语，完成学习任务后，学生会进一步学会探索适合自己的学习方法，积极参与课堂内外的英语活动，大胆地训练自己的英语语言交际能力。四、教学策略本节课型为Vocabulary and reading，根据新课标的要求，结合教材和学生特点，运用阅读、听说、直观、活动等方法创设教学情景，用“导”“引”方式去调动学生积极参与，让学生自主探究学习、合作交流，使学生在愉快的氛围中达到学习目标。本节课所需教具及资料：图片、录音机等。1、通过让学生谈论自己喜欢的动物，激发学生学生的兴趣，为学习新课打下伏笔。2、通过展示有关动物的图片，让学生尽可能用英语的说或描述图片，培养学生的语言运用能力。3、运用图片、学习词汇，并通过练习、讨论等形式巩固词汇。4、通过听、读、说等多种语言活动来完成任务，达到通过阅读材料来获取信息的目的。5、通过阅读、完成表格信息，提高运用所学知识，同时在运用过程中发展语言的能力。五、教学过程教师活动Step 1 Lead-in (3)Task 1 Show a picture and get the students to look at the animals and let them try to ask and answer like this. T: Whats this?S: Its a panda.T: Where does it come from?S: It comes from China.T: Does the panda eat bamboo?S: Yes, it does.Step 2 Pre-task (5)Task 1. Present a map of the world for the students. Then introduce some new words.eg. Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, South America Task2. Show the map again and let the Ss complete the sentences in Activity3T: Do you know what it is? Help them to answer “desert”. T: Yes, it is “desert”. Look at the map again. Where is the desert?S: The desert is in Africa. The same goes with the forest, the grassland and the jungle. Then ask them to complete the sentences in activity 3. Step 3 While task (25)Task 1 Reading Scanning and skimmingAsk students to read the passage quickly. T: We are going to hear a passage about animals. Try to find out “How many animals are mentioned in the passage?” and “What are they?” Lets begin.
