However, many national experts have said: "Modern Logistics is a process to make goods transfer from supplying place to local requirement according to the demand of customers in the lowest economic costs. It mainly includes transportation, storage, processing, packing, loading and unloading, distribution and information processing and other activities.” When the social productivity ascending to a degree then to reduce production cost becoming more difficult, reduce logistics cost for products provide a certain profit space. This also makes the modern logistics has very good development prospect. This article will unfold from all parties to analyze modern logistics below. Although transport process does not produce new material products, but it can realize logistics space utility and time utility. It is around by the other logistics activities. And that transportation cost is very large proportion in logistics cost, so the transportation rationalization is the key to rationalize logistics system. Transportation service is provided by the combination of various providers, including single way operator, professional carrier, transport operator and the homework properties of middlemen. The modern transportation means include railway transport and road transportation, waterway transport and air transport, and pipeline etc. In practical applications, in order to realize the optimization it can speak different modes of transportation together according to various needs. Part Two: Storage As a result of the unceasing increase of production size, storage have become an important and indispensable part of organizations. The thing flows the technology is the product which the modern science and technology and the industrial development unifies, the automation flows the management system management system is the spotlight, machine, the electricity, the meter is a body systems engineering. This system mainly has: Automated multi-layered storehouse (AS/RS), automatic expulsion system, homing control vehicle (AGV) system, computer management and simulation, simulation system, system integration and logic control system. Involves the domain includes: Artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, computer simulation, computer simulation, wireless communication, infrared communication, laser location technology, electromagnetism guiding, inertial navigation technology and so on. The automation flows use the computer control the management system completely. The computer basis massive thing flow the information, the data, the image and each kind of instruction carry on the input output, the structure which the reflection flows, flow to, the current capacity, the reserve, the thing flow the expense and so on. This system can rapid be accurate, the integrity collection, the transmission, the storage, processing and each kind of fluxion according to, can promptly understand and grasp the thing to flow the advancement, the correct decision-making, coordinates various links, effectively computation and organization commodity circulation. Part Three: Loading and unloading Loading and unloading &carrying means in a logistics node within the material, in order to change the storage of state and space position as the main content and purpose activities. It includes mount, remove, transfer, picking, classification, and stacking, warehousing, outbound and other activities. It is the necessary logistics activity which comes into being with transportation and storage. It links transport, storage, package, distribution processing and other logistics activities up by means of the intermediate link. Loading and unloading &carrying plays a connecting link between the preceding and the coupling effect in logistics activity. In practice, loading and unloading and handling is inseparable, and both is accompanied in together. During the process of logistics, loading and unloading activity appears constantly and repeatedly. It occurs more frequently than all other logistics activities. Every time handling activities should take a long time, so it often becomes the key that determines the speed of logistics. Handling &carrying efficiency exerts a tremendous influence on logistics overall efficiency in the whole process of logistics. Because handling &carrying activity is frequent, it is one of the main causes that results in the damage of product. Part Four: Logistics packing In social reproduction process, packing is the end of the production process and the beginning of logistics process as well. Its purpose is not only to protect the product quality and be convenient for handling &carrying, but also conducive to promote and expand product sales. The important characteristic of forwarding packing is to satisfy the requirements on the basis protection of logistics packaging, meanwhile cut down the cost as low as possible. Therefore, we must seek optimum effect between the packaging cost and the loss of logistics. In addition, in logistics and transport process, we should undertake classified packing according to different nature of the product. So it could prevent the product from artificial damage or deterioration. Part Five: Distribution Distribution bases on overall distribution of product, and be fully as request which includes type, type measures, quantity, and time requirements of shipping. It is a kind of special delivery form which delivers products from logistics stronghold to users. The biggest difference lies in logistics distribution and common delivery is that logistics distribution also includes preparation, storage, sorting and distribution, delivery of transport, such as service connotation. Preparation is the prepared work or basic work of distribution. Sorting and distribution is to perfect the delivery and support delivery repairing work. It is the inevitable requirements that sorting develops to high-level form. Distribution transport is a short distance, small size, quota of higher shipping form. V Conclusion: Logistics bilingual, a new course added up to our syllabus this semester, not only improved my English level, but also enriched my expertise in logistics. Because it introduces particular knowledge from all aspects that relate to logistics. At least, it let me learn a lot of proper nouns that can not be found in dictionary. I believe it will have a lot of benefit to my future work. Above is my harvest after completed the course, and also some of my opinion with logistics.
