大学生英语演讲稿 Online ShoppingOnline Shopping Greetings, As the Internet develops rapidly, many new items associated with it also enjoys a dramatic development and on-line shopping is one of them. But some people, especially those old ones, may wonder what is on-line shopping. On-line shopping can be defined as following: through searching the information of goods on the internet and send purchase request by an electronic order. After paying by your credit card, your goods will be sent to you via home delivery. Yet since we can buy what we want in the stores or supermarkets, why do we choose on-line shopping? Well, first of all, on-line shopping has gone through has brought an unusual revolution to the concept of commerce. Consumers will be able to sell goods that may only be available in other cities or even abroad. Secondly, considering that there are so many stores on the Internet that consumers can compare what he or she wants to buy in one store with the same goods in many other stores without walking. Therefore, he may get what he wants at the lowest cost of both money and time. Since on-line shopping has provided us with so many benefits, will it take over the place of traditional shopping? Well, from my point of view, it wont. My reasons are given as following. Primarily, some goods like clothes are not suitable to be bought on-line because without putting them on, consumers will not be sure whether the clothes are proper. Whats more, currently, relevant laws and security measures are not that mature that once consumers are cheated, they may find it hard to protect their rights. Therefore, many people still choose the traditional way of purchasing. However, once these problems are solved, why not anticipate a beautiful blueprint of on-line shopping?
