中国人与美国人的时间观念对比Compared with America being slaves to nothing but the clock .Chinese care little about time going by . So why Chinese pay no attention to the clock ? This is due partly to the convention that they are always late for everything including meeting . It did impress me that I made a date with my friend to the library at 12:00 on Saturday .But on the day ,I arrived there on time ,finding that she didnt come .I made a call .She just said that she was coming soon .whereas I waited for her almost one hour ,which made my blood boil .What was worse ,with the summer holiday approaching ,everyone budgeted going home .One of my friends packed up her clothes leisurely ,which result in her being late .She came to the station only to find that the bus had gone . Should one people get used to be late for everything ,she would miss the ritual interaction that may goes with a rare chance .So we should give added weight by the passage of time.
