The job I like bestThe job I like best In the past three years of my college life I have never ceased to think what kind of work I shall take up upon graduation. Although my ideas are not consistent, I have decided on a college teacher as my life-long career. A variety of reasons have led me to choose this occupation over other more lucrative ones. First, teaching is learning. To make my lectures more constructive and stimulating, I have to read more books, explore new knowledge and gain a better understanding of the world the very thing I enjoy in my life. Second, teaching means freedom and independence. As a teacher, Im free to use my own ideas and make my own decisions, a privilege not everyone can have, even those with highly-paid positions. Finally, I like teaching because it offers certain peace of mind. No more rushing to catch a morning bus, no more anxiety to please a boss, no more worries about your paycheck which is steady, if not handsome. Nothing, not even a big salary, can equal for the opportunity to continue learning, The satisfaction of being your own boss, and a gentle peace of life. My favorite food I like many kind of foods, such as dumpling, noodles, hamburger, egg soup and so on, but I like dumpling most. I like eating dumpling because he so is always delicious, and dumpling also has many kinds of stuffing inside, Chinese people eats dumplings with soy sauce and the vinegar sometimes add chili sauce and garlic,too.Every morning eats several dumplings to eat the dumpling soup also to feel very warm.So dumpling is my favorite. Do you also liking dumplings? How do you think? The Book I Like Best Everyone has his own favorite book, I am also. The book I like best is 'Three Days to See' written by an American deaf-and-dumb woman author and educator- Helen Keller. It is very positive. I like it very much！Sometimes I have thought it would be an excellent rule to live each day as if we should die tomorrow. Such an attitude would emphasize sharply the values of life. My Favorite TV Program My favorite TV program is CCTV news broadcasting at seven every evening. This program aims at keeping audiences informed about the national and international situation.It introduces the important events which happen recently all over our country.such as important national conferences ,new scientific inventions or discoveries,financial crises , natural disasters and so on. You can know the situations of the infection of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome(SARS),Sichuan earthquake and h1n1 influ in time by watching this program.You can be informed about some important international conferences and armed conflics which occer in other countries ,too. There are sevral factors which may account for my preference of the program.Firstly,the information is not only new but objective and just.The news is all collected by the Chinese correspondents working all over the world and they are reported from the perspective of our country.Besides ,the news announcers broadcasting quality is excellent. From the examples mentioned above ,it can be easily understood why I like CCTV news.
