For example, Chinese people prefer modesty and humility and against overvalue themselves; while westerner think that people envy heroes and strong persons. They believe that only those strong persons can be remembered for good. They dont regard modesty and humility as an important thing. Although there are some differences between Chinas culture and other western countries cultures, globalization combined us together. The speed of aircrafts makes the distance between different parts of the world seem shorter and shorter, so that we can easily visit people in different countries. The Internet spreads information faster and wider, so we can know the outside world more conveniently. This is globalization. Different people may have different attitudes towards it, but I think that we should be thankful for the globalization, as it brings us a lot advantages more than disadvantages. Without globalization, we would not be here to study English and chat with overseas friends. We can also learn a lot from the globalization. Globalization is not only a threat to us, it is also an opportunity. Wise people will use it for good, and I bet that China will benefit a lot from it. I dont think globalization will vanish cultural diversity. Every countries has its own traditional culture, and if it is indeed traditional, it must have been existed for centuries and it wont change or disappear easily. We must believe that our culture has the power to stand forever. So we can enjoy other cultures and preserve our own culture at the same time. Western culture has a great impact on todays Chinese young people. Just like they tend to celebrate western festival crazily. It suggest that we are becoming a whole family during the globalization. So I firmly recommend that we study not only our own culture, but also more other useful cultures.
