Unit The Earth 教案公开课优质课Unit 3 The Earth 教案 1 一、教学定位： Input-based and output-based，以写和说以及阅读为主。 二、教学目标： 语言知识 1.认读和了解单词fact， kilometer，quiz；了解meter，poem等拓展词汇。 2.初步了解诗歌的文体特征。 3.识别含有单元音 :、u:、u、:、及辅音k、g的单词。 4.理解6个单元音以及2个辅音的发音规则，能够分辨形近、音近的音标。 5.流利地朗读韵文。 6.用There is/are句型进行表述。 语言技能 1. 在听的过程中训练学生捕捉名称、数字等关键信息的技能，并与所给图片构建联系。 2. 运用本单元所学知识，讨论环境污染问题以及保护地球的措施。 3. 根据所给图片以及文字信息完成一份有关保护地球的报告。 情感态度 培养学生对诗歌的喜爱，通过朗读富有韵味的诗歌，体会诗歌的语言美。 理解保护环境的重要性，从身边的小事做起，影响身边的人，共同保护地球。 教学重点 在听的过程中捕捉名称、数据等关键信息的技能。 单元音:、u:、u、:、及辅音k、g的音和形。 教学难点： 了解英美诗歌押韵的特点。 对本单元音标的理解。 三、教学环节设计： Step1. Warm up Show some pictures of the Earth to Ss. Step2. Pre-listening 1. Ask Ss some questions about the sea. Q1:How much of the Earth is covered by the sea? Q2:What is the biggest animal in the sea? Q3:Is there any sunshine at the bottom of the sea? 2. Listening tips: While listening, watch the important words, such as names, times and numbers. Step3.While listening Get the Ss to listen to a quiz about the sea. Then circle the correct pictures. Play the recording again for the Ss to listen and circle the correct pictures. (Get students to practice the strategy. Focus on the listening strategy: listening to the key words.) Check the answers. Step4.Post-listening Get the Ss to read through the questions above first. 1. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and answer the questions. 2. Play the recording again for the Ss to listen and check their answers on their own. (Focus on the listening strategy: listening to the key words.) 3. Check the answers in class. 4. Summary: Ask the Ss to summarize what we have learned today. Step5.Talk Bar Get some Ss to talk about how to protect the Earth in our daily life with 6-8 sentences. Step6. Speaking A-Talk time 1. Get the Ss to pronounce the following phonetic signs correctly: :、u:、u、:、k、g Play the tape for Ss to follow it and say the words aloud. (Ex. A1) 2. Ex.A2-Ss listen to the tape and add the words to boxes in Ex A1. Step7. Speak up (Pair work) Explain what a questionnaire is to students and ask them to do ExB1. Follow the examples. S1:What can we do to protect the Earth? S2:We must stop polluting the air. S1:Are there any other things we can do? S2:We can take our own shopping bags to the supermarket. Step8.Consolidation Finish Exercise on p40 in Book B. Step 9.Pair work In pairs, get Ss to look at the photos below and discuss the problem with classmates. Step10.Group work Ask Ss question: What can we do to solve these problems? Discuss in groups and write down their suggestions.
