Three Keys to a Happy LifeThree Keys to a Happy Life Do you know there is an interesting definition about happiness on the Internet, which says, “Happiness is just like cats eat fish, dogs eat meats and ultramans beat little monsters?” But what is your understanding about happiness? No matter what it is, the point is how can we get a happy life? Now comes the most exciting moment to share the secrets of being happy everyday, are you ready? The first one is to have a positive attitude to life. Presumably, all of us have read the fable about an old woman, who worried about her two daughters business all the time. On the sunny days, she worried whether the elder one could sell umbrellas, and on the rainy days, she was afraid the little one could not sell shoes. Day after day, she was surrounded by unhappiness, wearing an anxious look. How could she lead a happy life? What if she thought in a positive way? Her daughters can sell umbrellas on the rainy days as well as sell shoes on the sunny days. The result must be totally different. Life is like a mirror, If you smile to life, it will smile to you in return. The second is to gain happiness from helping others. If you want to feel happier, do something nice for others. You can help friends on their studies, you can go shopping to get food for an old neighbor, and even you can simply help out around the house by washing the dishes. Gradually, may be you will find nothing can give us more pleasure than helping others in trouble. The third is to cherish what you own. One of my friends has told when he was a kid, he was eager to grow up soon, for he could not wait to leave his parents and could do whatever he wanted. However, when he travelled across thousands of mile to his university and had to be there for a whole semester, he came to realize how much he miss his city and family. Do you have encountered the same situation? Things are always like this. We usually dont cherish what we have until the moment we lose it. As Helen Keller once said “Darkness would make you more appreciative of sight; Silence would teach you the joys of sound.” why not seize the day to treasure every party of our life? Happiness is not as difficult as we thought to get. If we want it, we can see it, touch it and have it. Take with these three keys; Im sure you will be on your road to a happy life.
