Conclusion14Abstract Nowadays, China become more beautiful and strong, the life level here is higher, the educational level is also get a lot of improve. China become famous in the world and more and more people of other countries come to China to work, study, travel and live. English in our daily life become more important. In most place Chinese students learning English from a small ages, most Chinese students can speak English fluently. We are happy to see the stronger China and we are proud be a Chinese, but we also need to know clearly that our present educational situation and we need to notice our weakness is that the big distance between city and country. In our country, some poor and remote villages, teacher resource are still very short, especially the English teacher. The shortages impact the local education badly. The children are from the village how to catch the others from the developed area. They learn English twice a week and 3 to 4 classes have one English teacher, some place even have no professional English teacher when the developed area already set up the small class in primary and preschool. Come down to the fact, we interviewed the Da county and surrounding rural elementary school. Obtain the current situations of the English teacher, the shortage degree and the reasons in these districts. Aim at the problems we find some strategies. We hope this article can bring some attention to the children in the poor and remote villages and to find out some way to deal with this situation.Key words: educational; shortage of English teachers; English teachers training; educational system1. background Introduction:1.The history and present situation of middle and elementary school's English course The middle and elementary school's English course is different from Chinese and math, it is started from 1978s, as a new course, it went through a lot of troubles. In the first ten years is really a hard time, everything are in prepared stages, we are lack of English books, English teachers and has no right English teaching methods. On the other side, people didnt given English course adequate attention, so it is developed very slowly in that time, but in the next 12 years, English course developed a lot. In that time, English became a test course and the score should be record, this was improved students interesting and made parents and schools pay attention to English course. Until 21century, Our country already has some experience and has done some changes in English teaching methods. With the develop of technology, students also have more way to learn English, such as watch TV, listen to the CD, and learn it through Internet. Nowadays, English education has almost get the most attentions in China than Chinese and math, children learning English from very early ages, schools has professional English teachers, parents take their child to watch English movies, let them listen to the English songs, almost every body can say some English words, but in the poor areas, there maybe another world, teacher tells us that in poor areas, English stated very late than city, so in many poor areas ,there has a lot of problem in English education in middle and elementary school, in order to find out the problem of the poor areas we decided to do some research.1 2. The purpose and significance of this investigation.Nowadays, with the development of economy and technology, China has become more strong, as we know that education is very important to a country, the development of economy and technology, the life style in a country, all cant live without their education, so we should pay more attention to education, and the education problem should not be ignored, so we need to improve our English teaching quality of poor areas. This article mainly aims to survey the lack elementary of the English teacher in the current poor rural areas, then do some analysis. We hope we can reveal the existing problems for this elementary, and strive to research the English teaching mode for the primary school, provide some beneficial revelation. To open English course in the primary school is a strategic project which is adhering to reform and opening up and construct innovative country in China. According to the “The ministry of education on promoting open English course of primary school guidance” and “The basic education curriculum reform” requirement, primary school English course should have start grade opened for grade three. We should pay attention to commonly inspire and cultivate students interest in English study, and the training of certain language sense and good pronunciation, and intonation foundation. And it can guide the students glad to perform simple communication. To prevent and correct pronunciation and grammar as well as professor language knowledge of the teaching practice, mainly focused on cultivating students communicate in English abilities and interests.2. Investigation process2.1 Investigation conclude In march, two students in our group went to Da country to do some visit investigation. The investigation was last a week and department sampling survey the 68 primary schools in county of Da and surrounding towns, Dazhou city, Sichuan province. They two students have visited many school presidents and teachers, school principal, and the students parents, through watch and ask questions to get some important information. The number of their English teacher is mainly to the investigation, and try to understand the education background, professional or non-professional, full-time or part-time, etc, and analysis the existent problems and propose the effective improvement suggestions. They bring us many precious information and to make us more understand the present English education situation in poor areas.2.2 The specific content of the survey.Shuangmiao is lack of English major teacher. Until last September the school gets three English teachers, they finished the circumstance that take over a class for an absent teacher. Zhaojias question is the English teachers are professional but they are not the full-time. That means the English teachers will teach the scientific knowledge or the security, besides English. They have to, because the school is lack of scientific knowledge and the security teacher. On the other side, according to the president there are huge difference between the English professional and the nonprofessional in teaching effect. Beijie shortage is badly, there is only one full-time English teacher from the junior college education non-English major. The president says students English is terribly, he hopes they can get more teachers no matter full-time or part-time. Majia has one professional English teacher form junior college education. He couldnt meet the demand, so some of students are took over a class for an absent teacher. We listened to the substitute teacher in class, the teaching steps and ways is the teacher teaches the words the students followed, and then resolving the means, give the sample sentence and the students followed. The teachers pronounce is nonstandard and the students is idle, some of they say they couldnt grasp the knowledge. According to the president of Shiban, they pay much attention to the English teach, he apply English teacher for the Education Bureau, but without get the responses. There is one full-time English teacher who from junior college educations non-English major. She couldnt fulfill the huge requirement. Binlang, Caoba, Beigao, Yingshan, they are 9 years compulsory education, the primarys English teach replaced by the junior high schools English teacher. So compared with others they are no shortage in English teacher. But all of they are from junior college education. Dongxing is wanting in English teacher resource; they have English class in grade one, twice a week. Because the resource is scanty, they just attach importance to English to the 6th graders for the rate of admission into higher schools. Dooshis English teacher is scare, no full-time English teacher in there. Whats more the part-time will take turns to the village teacher English. Muzi is not merely lack English, but also wanting safety and scientific teacher. They are replaced by the Chinese and math teacher. 5. Analyze the situation and problems.During the survey, we found that the primary school in poor rural areas although have already opened the English course with grade three for the starting grade according to requirement. But the number of excellent teacher which was dispatched to the poor areas is so poor let alone the volunteers. Most of the teachers in the poor school are non-English major graduate. The full- time teachers are very famine. Such as the Muzi, Dashu, Anren, Caoxing, Nanyue, Pingtan, Wanjia, Maliu, Jingshi, havent full-time English teacher. In many school the English lessons are teached by other generation lesson teachers. And the way of teaching can neither stimulating and cultivates students interest in English class. It also can not let students learn pure pronunciation, intonation and language sense and so on. It not only cant guarantee the quality of English, but cant guarantee the quality of other subjects. Some school has only an English teacher which teaches eight classes. Some school is junior high school which the primary school English lessons are teached by junior middle school English teacher, so they dont lack English teacher. Some of teachers are not teacher when they graduate. In addition the area is out of the way, so they couldnt get support from the volunteer; schools and students take little of English, its disquieting. 6.
