请给理想一点时间当不少人还沉溺于青春的伤逝、兀自喟叹彷徨时，有一群年轻人却已经挺着胸膛、脚踏实地，走向西部、走向基层、走向祖国最需要的地方。作为“80后”，他们的青春本可以很常规：名校毕业、一线城市就业、恋爱结婚然而5年中，他们陆续结伴而行，在海拔4000多米的西藏高原，以自己的选择和坚守，用青春完成新的作业。不必掩饰，选择之初自有家长的顾虑、师友的担心和学校的叮咛；坚守之中，亦有高原上的寂寞、工作中的困惑乃至不为人知的酸楚。然而，这些刚刚从象牙塔走出的青年，始终以明亮的精神底色，坚持用奋斗书写人生。5年过去，也许当初的激情已被平实的生活取代，但请给理想一点时间脚在路上走、心有大未来的人，是在服务他人中感受价值，是在追逐理想中享受快乐。更长未来里，甚至不必期待他们的成功，因为并不是所有的出发都是为了抵达。人，生活虽在物质之中，成长却在精神之上。用减法去除浮躁、去除虚荣、去除功利，用加法聚众成火、纳溪成泊、合木为林，这，是这些清华学子正在做的。青春是转瞬即逝的韶华，但时代光谱会记下他们的奉献与坚守。只有当我们的时代更多地涌现“位卑未敢忘忧国”的青年，他们“理想既定，行且弥坚”，我们才能说我们的中国梦终将实现；也只有当强烈的理想主义与行胜于言的奋斗实践激烈碰撞，青春之旅才会火花闪耀，照亮前行之路。Acknowledgements My deepest gratitude goes first and foremost to Professor aaa , my supervisor, for her constant encouragement and guidance.
