The decision is choosing Russia to selling clothes decided by comparing the advantages and disadvantages between doing business in Russia and Brazil. The methodology will introduce the method I used to find the data about the two countries and Unilever. The finding part will show the comparison between Russia and Brazil by comparing the PEST Analysis. The discussion part will show the advantages and disadvantages Brazil and Russia have. IntroductionA subsidiary is going to be managed in Russia. The local business is named Heng Yuan Xiang, which mainly produces clothes. Heng Yuan Xiang is the largest wool manufacturer in the world. It was established in 1972s and it involving home textile, knitting, dress. Heng Yuan Xiang focuses on its quality of the product and team works and this business style is welcome in either Russia or Brazil. Heng Yuan Xiang includes exporting, licensing and Internet 3 entry modes. It uses licensing so that it can get more market and make a new competitor difficult to enter the market. Exporting can help Heng Yuan Xiang get more development space. It uses Internet entry mode in order to have minimal investment and risk. Compare the PEST between Russia and Brazil, Russia focus on the heavy industry and Brazil focus on light industry in economic. Both Russia and Brazil has good relationship with marketing and it will improve the exporting. Brazil takes more responsibility to its business compared with Russia in industrialized. In technological, they all have copyright and intellectual property laws or patents to protect technology. The Heng Yuan Xiangs local distribution mode is distributed in many city centers. It usually has its stores in shopping mall and other place which is busy. The outline of this study is try to find which countries more benefits Heng Yuan Xiang can earn and less challenges Heng Yuan Xiang may face between Russia and Brazil. MethodologyThe data was mainly collected by searching from the Internet. It includes the information about Heng Yuan Xiang, the PEST both in Russia and Brazil, and the information about Unilever. Firstly, get the information about Heng Yuan Xiang can make a further understand about this brand. It will help this study find the advantages and disadvantages this brand have and make decision more easily. The comparison of PEST between Russia and Brazil can show the difference directly. It compares Russia and Brazil in political, economic, industrialized and technological four ways so that give the specific these countries situation. The information about Unilever shows how Unilever do in these countries and know the potential and goodness each country have, which means reference others experience to get the purpose. Most of data was collected from the Internet. Sometimes it could not show the true information well. However, as a whole, it can roughly reflect the situation Russia and Brazil are and help the company make decision correctly. Findings ComparisonRussiaBrazilPoliticalRussia has a stable government. Both of them are all capitalist and Brazilian takes more responsibility to their business. They all have copyright, intellectual property laws and patents to protect technology. Unilever builds a stronger business in CEE in Russia, conserve opportunities in foods. It done well with portfolio across the consumer pyramid, Capability to build markets, winning with Customers and Local roots. In Brazil, Unilever pay attention on the satisfaction, research the main competitors. Unilever has real scale and a well balanced portfolio in Brazil.DiscussionThe differences in PEST between Russia and Brazil are: Brazilian takes more responsibility to their business and Russia focus on heavy industry and Brazil focus on light industry. Selling clothes in Russia in better than selling in Brazil. First of all, the weather in Russia is cold enough for people to wear wool clothes. However, Brazil is very hot, and the wool clothes cant adapt the environment in Brazil. Secondly, light industry in Brazil is more popular than in Russia, which means our company would face more comparison if we establish it in Brazil. Thirdly, Russia is closer to China than Brazil, so it can save more transport cost. The advantages of doing wool clothes sailing in Russia are the temperature, and close location. The disadvantages of doing wool clothes sailing in Russia are we should try to adapt the Russians business style. The advantages of doing wool clothes sailing in Brazil are rich raw material and big market. The disadvantages of doing wool clothes sailing in Brazil are far location and high temperature. From the information about Unilever in these two countries, Russia has big potential customers market. It is concerned that 1 billion new consumers in the next ten years in Russia. Russia has profitable growth and strong local management. It means Russia has huge potential market. Brazil has incredible talent pools and top notch infrastructure, which can provide the up to data technology. This statement mainly concludes the situations Russia and Brazil are. However, the business style could not reflect the total conditions Russian and Brazilian are. It is helpful for making decisions about choosing Brazil or Russia to marketing the local brand and prepares the preparation. It didnt reflect the specific situation in Russia or Brazil. Also, it didnt combine the history and other factors to reflect the situations Brazil and Russia are. ConclusionsRussia is chosen to selling wool clothes in because of its suited environment to our brand, less compaction and closer geographic location. The action that should be taken would be learn the Russisch and clearly know the culture of Russia, especially doing business. We should also investigate the local business in order to figure out the profits we would earn and the comparison we would face. Get the information about cloth market in Russia and the leadership in Russia. These all should be prepared to know the challenge and opportunity our company will face in the future.
