This TV series now get a great success, And this paper analyses the success of Sherlock from three aspects. First, the original work: its a well known detective story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Second, nowadays people need hero mostly because they are unsatisfied with their own lives, so it basically means the times need heroes. The last reason is that we have the very talented film crew, and every successful Movie and Television Products must own that. Although Sherlock Holmes is just a fictional detective, he and his friend - assistant - roommate - ex. army doctor John H. Watsons adventure journey always makes people mind blowing.2.2 People need heroAmericans made super heroes I mean The Avengers series, big fan. to fight back evils, then they made billions of money. They wont get so many benefits if people dont interested in it.And Sherlock Holmes is a hero, too. Hes a London-based "consulting detective" whose abilities border on the fantastic, he is famous for his astute logical reasoning, his ability to adopt almost any disguise, and his use of forensic science skills to solve difficult cases. He saves peoples life. Theres no doubt that he is a hero who against criminals.2.3 The amazing film crewThe idea by Steven Moffat Steven Moffat (born 18 November 1961) is a Scottish television writer and producer. Moffat has written several episodes of Doctor Who and succeeded Russell T Daviesas lead writer and executive producer when production of its fifth series began in 2009. He co-wrote The Adventures of Tintin for director Steven Spielberg, a project he left for his new senior role on Doctor Who. and Mark Gatiss Mark Gatiss (born 17 October 1966) , English actor, screenwriter and novelist. He is known as a member of the comedy team The League of Gentlemen alongside Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and co-writer Jeremy Dyson, and has both written for and acted in the TV series Doctor Who and Sherlock. to create modern Sherlock who uses the technologies that are available to him today in order to help him solve crimes is so marvelous. But how to make it a successful TV series is the very problem.Luckily, theyve got the wonderful screen script The six episodes were written by Moffat, Stephen Thompson and Mark Gatiss., filming team Paul McGuigan is the director of "A Study in Pink", " The Great Game", "A Scandal in Belgravia" and "The Hounds of Baskerville". They perfectly showed us these unbelievable stories which including murder, kidnap, bomb crimes and so on. They make us so into these cases and very moved by the relationship between Sherlock and John Martin Freeman said on The One Show that "Their relationship its a kind of love story.". There are so many scenes are so unforgettable such as John killed a man to save Sherlocks life when the very next day they know each other, it could not be that great without the wonderful BGM, CG, and the actors professional acting skills.3. ConclusionThe success of Sherlock is not a coincidence. First, we have the great original work by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who invented the most intelligent detective.
