Miyazaki used TOTORO, a ficitional mystery to express his love for the nature and human warmth.,As the most famous work of Miyazaki, TOTORO presents the sense of nature and family affection in an abstractly amazing way.,And in order to memerize this childlike work, TOTORO has been selected the mascot of the studio.,Mononoke Princess,to live,This is a story about a fight between people and animals, which is caused by humans damage to nature. San, a girl brought up by animals, together with her animal family fights bravely to protect their home.At last, San and another boy manage to heal the nature, and then, green comes back and the world recovers again.,People damage the nature to become the master of the world with no caring about animals. In this work, the girl represents the hurt animals, and the boy represents the world of people. The disagreement between people and animals is always complex and unsolved.,Besides discussion on relationship between people and the nature, the deep theme of the work is the discussion on existence and freedom.,Valley of the Winds,It is a story happens in the future. After human have destoryed the environment, a fight caused by greed aggravates the conflict between human and the forest. A princess from Valley of Winds calms the nature with her courage and mercy, which also brings peace back to the world.,Valley of the Winds reflects the contradiction of human technology and nature power at that specific period.It introduced many of the themes which recur in later films: a concern with ecology and the human impact on the environment, pacifism and even feminism.,Castle in the Sky,One day, the young girl coming down from heaven,Howls Moving Castle,From Up on Poppy Hill,A key point in Miyazakis work is the concept of Tree. In his work, trees can help clean the world that human have polluted, can be the basic power of human civilization, even the symbol of nature strength which punishes human for immoderate greed. And in Spirited Away, trees are where the journey sets out and ends.,Despite different backgrounds, the constant theme in his work is courage, beauty and peace.
